Members

Membership in the Greater Lafayette Chapter of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society is open to all legal professionals and individuals committed to our principles. This includes judges, attorneys, legislators, congressional representatives, law professors, and law students.

By joining the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, you gain access to a network of legal professionals dedicated to advancing the African American community through the justice system and legal education. Our programs, evaluated and implemented annually by our Executive Board, include community events, pro bono work, continuing legal education, civic engagement, social activities, youth mentorship, and service to the Greater Lafayette community.

All members are encouraged to join a committee to support the annual programming of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. Our Committee Chairs and Members collaborate with the Executive Board to organize events, branding, social engagement, and philanthropy. Here is a list of our standing committees:
